The world needs more crazy people.
“Crazy” is just different than “normal”.
Thinking, speaking and acting in a non-normal way is costly in terms of social standing; therefore money; therefore freedom.
People are generally self-interested and proud, so being viewed as crazy is emotionally costly; the crazier, the more costly. One would have to feel pretty strongly to willingly pay that price.
How many people would even be willing for that? They’d have to value whatever makes them crazy very highly.
Don’t ignore the crazy people. Listen, even if only for curiosity’s sake.
You never know what you’ll learn.
